Hi all, just a quick update on current activities.

Adeel has joined the team providing extra coverage for our tech support services in the Sydney metro area. Welcome aboard!

We’re about to go live with a very different website for Production Sports Cars Association. This will be pretty cool and provide a comprehensive history of all races for quite a few years back. Been weeks in the works so will be good to go live. Maybe at the October races at Eastern Creek???

In the meantime, were also busy with infrastructure rollouts – welcome aboard to our new clients, and a number of website development activities. New on the block is www.mascotfoundry.com.au , a demo site for the civil construction industry. Lots to do, all groovy!

Hi bloggers, big news for us is that we are now the official web solution provider as well as series sponsor for the NSW Production Touring Cars association > http://www.nswproductiontouringcars.com.au/. Go the thumping V8s! A great race category on the rise, with both state and national events in line for 2011. Our first job is to get the new website up and running to display how dynamic this race series is. This will be our major focus for February in the online space.  Thanks to Gerry and the committee for their support. We look forward to working with them during 2011.

A couple of other managed services with very, very good price points are in plan also, so plenty to chew on this month…

An interesting piece of technical know-how…

Concerned about privacy when browsing the Net or using social media pages? A new free product is avaialble to solve this: HTTPS Everywhere is a Firefox extension produced as a collaboration between The Tor Project and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It encrypts your communications with a number of major websites incl Google, Faccebook, Twitter etc . Many sites on the web offer some limited support for encryption over HTTPS, but make it difficult to use. For instance, they may default to unencrypted HTTP, or fill encrypted pages with links that go back to the unencrypted site. The HTTPS Everywhere extension fixes these problems by rewriting all requests to these sites to HTTPS. Check it out at https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

A big howdy to all. Our major news for this month is the Online Gift Voucher purchase system developed for Wakefield Park Motorsport is up and running – appears to be a popular choice for gifts! See it at  http://wakefield.savvyit.com.au/store. The online entry solution for motorsport events, also for Wakefield Park which we launched 1st March is also gaining in momentum – definitely a time saver for both entrants and admin staff.

Our regular customer Australian TopsStock, with their unique stock & stud listings site (www.australiantopstock.com.au) also continues to gain in popularity; continual enhancements to the site have been applied in response to customer feedback.
